What are your childhood memories?
Dad's favorite pie was gooseberry. Late in the summer, we'd swing a pail and head to the timber's prickly patch of gooseberries in search of those tart and tiny green balls. This piece recalls the colors, smell and thickness of the woods where the bushes flourished, and adventure of the gooseberries hunt.
